These terms govern every purchase from BioRise. By placing an order you accept them in full. If you do not accept them, do not order.
We may revise these terms. The version in force is the one published on the date your order is placed.
All materials supplied by BioRise are furnished solely as laboratory reagents for in vitro research. They are not drugs, food, cosmetics, dietary supplements or medical devices, and they are not approved by the Food and Drug Administration or any comparable authority for use in humans or animals.
You agree that materials purchased from BioRise will not be:
BioRise makes no representation that any material is safe or effective for any purpose. No statement on this site has been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration.
You represent that you are at least 21 years of age, that you are acquiring these materials for legitimate research, and that you are competent to handle laboratory chemicals safely.
We may decline or cancel any order at our discretion, including where an order is inconsistent with research purchasing or where a buyer indicates an intent to administer these materials. We may close accounts on the same basis.
We publish identity, purity, water content and physical form for each lot, together with the analytical report supporting those figures. Specifications shown in the catalog are typical; the certificate issued for your specific lot governs.
We do not provide dosing information, administration routes, reconstitution volumes, handling protocols or experimental design guidance. Determining suitability for any application is your responsibility, as is compliance with your institution's requirements and with all applicable law.
Prices are in US dollars and exclude tax and shipping. Volume discounts are applied automatically at the tier thresholds published on the product page and are calculated per product, not per order.
An order is an offer to purchase. A contract is formed when we dispatch the goods, not when payment is taken. Where a price or specification is listed in error we may cancel and refund in full.
Approved institutional buyers may be offered purchase order and net terms. Terms are extended at our discretion and may be withdrawn.
Title passes on full payment. Risk passes on delivery to the address you supply. You are responsible for the accuracy of that address and for ensuring someone is available to receive a cold-chain shipment.
We warrant that each lot conformed to its certificate of analysis at the time of release. This is the only warranty we give. All other warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the price paid for the goods giving rise to it. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or incidental loss, including loss of data, loss of experimental work or loss of profit.
You agree to indemnify BioRise against any claim, loss or expense arising from your use, storage, handling, transfer or disposal of materials purchased from us, or from any breach of these terms.
All content on this site, including the BioRise name, marks, catalog structure, photography and analytical documentation, is our property. Certificates may be reproduced in full for regulatory, institutional or record-keeping purposes. They may not be altered or reproduced in part.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, and the courts of that State have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
